The Cleveland Browns expect Johnny Manziel to participate in offseason workouts beginning April 20 after he completes two months of rehab.
Manziel checked into a facility on Jan. 28 in an effort to "be a better family member, friend and teammate," family attorney Brad Beckworth said in a statement Feb. 3.
The Browns do not expect rehab to keep Manziel from competing for the starting quarterback job in 2015. Manziel will compete with Josh McCown, Connor Shaw and the recently acquired Thad Lewis at quarterback.
The Tennessee Titans are getting closer to being sold and the possibility of Jimmy Haslam trading his ownership of the Cleveland Browns is possible.
Haslam badly wanted to own the Titans in his home state of Tennessee, but he chose several years ago to instead purchase the Browns when they became available.
Dave Tepper is considered the frontrunner to buy the Titans. Tepper is a Pittsburgh guy who owns five percent of the Steelers.
"Don't ignore the possibility of a swap with the Browns when that time comes," said one source who deals directly with many ownership groups.
Dwayne Bowe has agreed to sign with the Cleveland Browns on a two-year deal.
Bowe was released this offseason by the Kansas City Chiefs after eight seasons with the club.
Bowe visited Cleveland last week and had a productive meeting with the staff. He has a relationship with general manager Ray Farmer, who previously worked in Kansas City's personnel department.
The Cleveland Browns reportedly offered a first round pick for Sam Bradford.
It is unclear if the Browns made the offer when Bradford was property of the St. Louis Rams or Philadelphia Eagles or both.
Both Jeff Fisher and Chip Kelly claimed to have received first round offers for Bradford.
The Browns aren't counting on Johnny Manziel being a factor this season.
Tramon Williams has been durable during his time with the Green Bay Packers and signed a three-year, $21 million deal with the Cleveland Browns.
Williams is 32 and would be fifth in APY behind Byron Maxwell, Brandon Flowers, Kareem Jackson and Chris Culliver as f.
Williams remains a quality cornerback, but the cost seems high based on his age.

Jordan Cameron has agreed to sign with the Miami Dolphins on a two-year, $15 million deal.
Reports had indicated on Thursday that Cameron had agreed to re-sign with the Cleveland Browns.
Cameron had his best year in 2013 when he caught 80 receptions. Last season, Cameron missed five games due to concussion issues and one with a shoulder injury.
The Dolphins still have the transition tag on tight end Charles Clay, who is free to negotiate with other teams. Miami also can rescind the tag at any time.
The Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs will pursue Darrelle Revis in addition to the New England Patriots and New York Jets.
The Patriots decided not to pick up Revis' $20 million option for 2015.
The Browns and Raiders also pursued Revis in 2014.
The Houston Texans have agreed to terms with Ryan Mallett and also have agreement on a deal with Brian Hoyer.
Mallett will sign a two-year deal worth $7 million.
Hoyer's deal will be for three seasons.
Bill O'Brien also previously worked with Hoyer during their time together with the New England Patriots.
