Johnny Manziel Pulled Over By Police During Domestic Dispute

Oct 16, 2015 6:20 PM

Johnny Manziel was pulled over by Avon police after police said a domestic argument with his girlfriend Colleen Crowley got out of hand on Interstate 90 westbound earlier in the week.

Police said alcohol was involved.

A witness called police after seeing Manziel's white Nissan use the shoulder of the road to pass her at a high speed.

The witness told police the couple was arguing and Crowley attempted to exit the vehicle while they were on the road.

In the report, both Manziel and Crowley admitted they were having an argument and Crowley threw a wallet out of the window.

In the report, Crowley told police Manziel pushed her head into a window. She wanted her cell phone because she was concerned about her safety and said she just wanted to return to Texas.

According to the report, police did not believe the couple was intoxicated to the point where they could be charged.

Manziel checked himself into rehab for alcohol earlier this year.

Crowley posted the following statement on Instagram:

"J & I are good. I appreciate the people who stopped to check on us and call the police, I could see how it may have looked. Anytime anyone sees a guy and a girl arguing on the side of a road they should definitely stop, you never know what that could be. Fortunately it was just an argument, it was private, and we are all good!"

Peyton Manning's Tie To Haslam Could Lead To Exec Role With Browns

Oct 15, 2015 2:09 PM

ESPN's Tony Grossi wrote that “if (Peyton) Manning does decide to try his hand as a football team executive, it is generally assumed that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam would be first in line to take it.”

Haslam is on his third administration since taking over the Browns three years ago.

Gary Kubiak said Manning “can do whatever he wants to do (when he retires). His football knowledge and his drive to compete and lead people is as good as I’ve ever been around. It’s a joy for me to be around. Only he can answer that question if it’s something he wants to do some day, but I think anything he chooses to put his mind to he’s going to be very successful, much like John has done.”
