Volume Of Undefeated Teams Are An NFL First

Oct 23, 2015 12:07 PM

The NFL has prided itself on parity over the past 20 years, but five teams remain undefeated through six weeks.

The Green Bay Packers, the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals are 6-0, while the New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers are 5-0.

The Panthers have reached the playoffs in each of the past two seasons, while the Broncos and Bengals are on four straight seasons in the playoffs and the Packers and Patriots have made the playoffs in six straight seasons.

Before 2015, there had been only one season in which even four teams emerged with perfect records through six weeks.

Jeremy Hill To Be 'Huge Part Down Stretch Run'

Oct 22, 2015 2:06 PM

Jeremy Hill has had a slow start to his second NFL season, but the Cincinnati Bengals plan on increasing his workload.

"I know the player he can be, so I'm going to keep pushing him to get there," offensive coordinator Hue Jackson said. "I mean, we need him. He's going to be a huge part down the stretch run once we get back here."

Hill has 232 rushing yards on 74 carries. He also has six combined rushing and receiving touchdowns.
