Jay Cutler Could Miss Remainder Of Season With Shoulder Injury

Nov 21, 2016 5:02 PM

Jay Cutler could be out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Cutler was able to finish the game and was intercepted by safety Landon Collins on the final offensive play but the Bears were working to learn more about his injury.

Cutler is injured for the second time this season and could be the third quarterback to suffer a season-ending injury.

If Cutler cannot play, Matt Barkley would be the team’s starting quarterback for Sunday’s game

Jay Cutler Refutes Notion He's Lost Bears' Locker Room

Nov 17, 2016 7:45 PM

Jay Cutler has denied the notion coming out of report from Bleacher Report that he's lost the Chicago Bears' locker room.

Multiple players conveyed that sentiment in the report.

One of those players said Cutler's lack of preparation before Chicago's 36-10 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was "truly embarrassing."

Cutler finished the game 16-of-30 for 183 yards, two interceptions (one for a pick-six) and two lost fumbles.

"Unnamed source, I'm guessing?" Cutler asked on Thursday. "The source could be a lot of people. It could be a made-up source. It could actually be guys in there. If people actually start putting their names on it, we can have a discussion about it.

"The game before [versus Minnesota in Week 8] was the opposite end of the spectrum. Whenever you lose, we all know what this position entails. And when you do have a performance like that as a quarterback, you're going to get some of that stuff. I don't feel like the locker room has ever [given up on me]. I've never felt like that in the locker room with those guys."

Bears, Jets, Broncos, Cardinals Could Pursue Tony Romo In 2017

Nov 17, 2016 10:48 AM

There are four teams that Tony Romo could end up on next season if his situation with the Dallas Cowboys behind Dak Prescott remains unchanged.

In no particular order, Adam Schefter reports Romo could end up on the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Denver Broncos or Arizona Cardinals.

If Prescott continues to merit playing as the starter, the Cowboys would struggle to carry Romo's $14 million base salary.
